About This Dog
Tank is a powerful, high-drive male with exceptional instinct, intelligence, and desire. The moment the tailgate drops, he knows it’s game time. He naturally adjusts his range and application to the cover, working methodically within gun range in dense grouse cover while confidently reaching out on the open prairies in search of sharptail grouse. An exceptional nose, stylish intensity on point, and a cooperative nature allow him to hunt independently while remaining connected to his handler. Whether hunting pheasants, quail, ruffed grouse, woodcock, sharptail grouse, or Hungarian partridge, Tank has proven himself across a variety of upland game birds.
Away from the field, he is affectionate, loyal, naturally protective, rides quietly in the truck, has a reliable off switch, and is always aware of the people and world around him. He is as dependable around the kennel as he is in the field.
