Born October 22, 2025, this litter marked the beginning of a new chapter for Dawson Lake Bretons. Ulysses and Tea were paired with purpose, representing the first breeding to fully embody the vision and direction of the program.
One of the bigger males in the litter, he had a more relaxed and reserved nature. He usually wasn’t the first puppy to jump into the action, preferring to watch and take things in before getting involved. Once he decided to engage, though, he was all in and didn’t want to stop. He seemed very thoughtful and curious about everything around him, with a calm, observant personality that made him a little different from some of his more outgoing littermates.
One of the smaller females in the litter, but she definitely didn’t lack personality. She was always on the move, full of energy, and ready to play. She loved getting her siblings stirred up and was usually right in the middle of whatever was going on. Playful, busy, and full of life, she was the kind of puppy that always kept things entertaining.
The biggest puppy in the litter, this female had a quiet, relaxed personality and seemed perfectly content doing things on her own terms. She would join in and play when she felt like it, but she usually preferred staying on the outskirts of the everyday rough-and-tumble action. She wasn’t one to put up with her littermates constantly pulling or climbing all over her either. Calm, confident, and a little more independent, she had a very easygoing nature and always seemed comfortable just taking everything in.
This medium-sized female was pure energy from the start. She wanted to move, move, move and always seemed to be on the go. She was one of the first puppies to figure out how to escape the whelping box, which pretty much summed up her personality. Curious, busy, and always looking for something to get into, she loved stirring up her littermates and keeping everyone on their toes. She was a fun, high-energy puppy with plenty of drive and personality.
This smaller male made up for his size with plenty of personality. He was full of spunk, confident, and always on the go. He was the kind of puppy that wanted to be right in the middle of whatever was happening, constantly exploring and looking for his next adventure. He showed a lot of energy and enthusiasm from an early age, with a fun, outgoing personality that made him stand out in the litter.
