The 2024 Skip × Sarah litter combined two dogs known for their natural hunting ability, cooperative temperaments, and desire to please. As one of the kennel’s early breedings, this litter remains an important part of the Dawson Lake Bretons story.
This female was full of energy from the start and seemed fearless about just about everything. She was always on the go, always looking for something to do, and brought a lot of fun and personality to the litter. She was very playful and especially loved being around me, making sure she was never too far away and that I always knew she was there. Outgoing, confident, and full of life, she was the kind of puppy that was hard not to notice.
Virgil was a calm, inquisitive puppy with a thoughtful approach to everything around him. Rather than rushing into new situations, he preferred to observe first, carefully taking in his surroundings before making a decision. His steady temperament, intelligence, and composed nature gave him a quiet confidence that made him a pleasure to watch develop.
