Goals for This Breeding
Continue building upon the qualities that define Dawson Lake Bretons by pairing two dogs that complement one another in the field and in the breeding program. This breeding is intended to reinforce the direction of the program while producing Epagneul Bretons built for the uplands.
Puppies are expected to exhibit strong drive, intelligence, instinct, cooperation, and a natural desire to hunt. The goal is to produce well-rounded Epagneul Bretons with the qualities needed to become dependable upland hunting dogs.
